I called xbox and went thru some steps and they determined that it was a port fowarding issue. Select a Xbox One complitable format from the right categroy, such as H264, WMV2, MPEG4.
I have tried using a mini USB cable to connect my controller to my laptop. I am guessing the update erased the previously installed Xbox One controller driver.
This morning the operating system was updated. I have been using an Xbox One wireless controller with USB adaptor with Windows 10 on my laptop.
